Through CESEP, a strategic alliance with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), United Nations/UNESCO, Sport Information Research Center (SIRC) and other drug-free sports agencies, GSD enlists students and teachers in a fight against the use of performance enhancing drugs and illegal substances that destroy the essence of ethical play.

In promotion of the values of doping-free sport, Foundation for Global Sports Development and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) are proud to collaborate by implementing the grass roots education and awareness program; Culture, Education Sport and Ethics Program (CESEP).

The CESEP program will be highlighted before and during the 2010 Winter Games on the www.vancouver2010.com/EDU education portal and during both the Olympics from February 12th-28th, 2010 and Paralympics from March 12th-21st, 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

GSD also conducts playmakers - multi-year collaborations between young athletes and adult mentors that culminate in the opportunity to visit an upcoming Olympic Games.

GSD's unique relationships with international sports organizations and community programs provide the opportunity to see, firsthand, the impact of sports on both a macro and micro level. By participating in academic research and historical preservation, we ensure that our learnings are available to future generations. Below are links to select GSD projects and contributions:
