...The SOS kids are here through the Foundation for Global Sports Development, which works with youth programs around the world and brings a few to the Olympics every two years.

Youngsters to Enjoy Unique Innsbruck 2012 Experience with Global Sports Development
Prague, Warsaw, Malmö, Istanbul, Lviv (Ukraine) and Seoul will all feature at the YOG World Mile Project, part of the Culture & Education Programme of the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games. Thanks to Global Sports Development (GSD) and the Innsbruck 2012 Organising Committee, 24 youngsters and six accompanying adults from these cities will have the chance to experience an unforgettable five-day stay at the inaugural Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Seefeld and Kühtai.

CCEF Gets Global Sports Grant for CCHS Athletes
The Foundation for Global Sports Development (GSD) has granted $7,500 to CCEF to help fund the CCHS Athletic Department Academic Support Plan. The goal of the CCHS program is to prepare athletes to be successful beyond high school by giving them the qualities that come from being part of a team and the confidence that results from gaining academic success.
