London Education and Arts Programme
GSD is pleased to introduce the London Education and Arts Programme (LEAP). All school teachers and adults other than teachers in London schools can download lesson plans and worksheets on these Olympic Education themes:

The lessons on Olympic Values are designed for young people in school years 6-12 (aged 10-16). Most of the lesson plans have a corresponding worksheet which challenges young people to produce art work related to the topic studied.
Win places at LEAP Summer Camp for London 2012 - ages 12-16 only
The LEAP Summer Camp will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for young people to learn about Olympic Values and experience the Olympic Games in London. In a five day, all expenses paid residential summer camp during the London 2012 Olympic Games, up to 50 young people will have the chance to learn from Olympic athletes, visit historical and cultural sites in London and take in some of the sporting action.
GSD is offering up to 30 places at the LEAP Summer Camp to the young people from London schools who produce the best art work after learning about Olympic Values at school. Class teachers should submit entries by e-mail or post with an accompanying form. See entry form for details. Parents can also submit entries by e-mail.
The LEAP Summer Camp competition is open to young people in school years 8-12 (aged 12-16) who are at school in the London Boroughs. The closing date is 11 November 2011. Age will be taken into account.
Win London 2012 Olympic / Paralympic tickets - ages 10-11 only
Children at school in the London Boroughs in school years 6 and 7 (ages 10-11) who produce the best art work after learning about Olympic Values at school can win a pair of tickets for them and a parent/carer to an Olympic or Paralympic event. GSD is offering 20 pairs of tickets to selected Olympic and Paralympic events

The The announcement of winners
After the deadline of 11 November 2011, the panel will meet to review applications and select winners. Winners will be notified by email through the contact details provided on this entry form. A full list of winners will be available from GSD on request by January 2012.
